FANS“In 2021, Victoria Paterson and her team of musicians brought music and hope to the Javits Vaccination Center, playing for everyone who was in that mandatory 15-minute wait after their Covid injection. Due to varying degrees of isolation, many people had not been in close contact with anyone for months. I saw tears, I saw dancing in the aisles and I saw exhausted medical staff brighten as they listened. I saw at first hand the power music can have. Her work — and her music — has truly made New York a better place to live, work and play. “—Alan Steel, President & CEO Javits Center
“Through your eyes and face. I don’t know exactly how to put it. Your gaze humanizes the musical experience for me, in the audience. I see how the music is affecting you, how you gesture to your musical comrades. How you move. I just felt all the more pulled into the beautiful music making. And the J.S. Bach was sublime. —Dr. Richard Titone
“It was fun, set the mood, exhilarating! I was so moved, and it was the highlight of my day. Thank you for the joy you all brought with your music. I often think of strings as classical, and you reinforced how they can be so versatile. You make live music accessible & oh-so enjoyable! ”— David Clearwater, Shops at Jones Farm
“I've truly enjoyed getting to know you…Victoria, you're a terrific violinist and musical companion, and more importantly, a great person.”— Bob Leibholz
“Nothing heals a troubled soul better than music. And in these troubled times, it’s truly a blessing to discover music in the most unusual places. Victoria Paterson and her musicians have been proving this over and over again as they appear in various venues around New York City and beyond.”— Paulanne Simmons, TheaterLife.com
“You all were rocking! Your entire body of strings was just perfect. I could hear the music when I walked into the Oculus World Trade Cetner, and I could hear it when I walked away. I am so sure that the spirits of all the people who lost their lives near, in, or around this wonderful monument, I’m sure they were feeling the same way that I felt because I felt it. Magnificent.”— Willie Mae Brown, Visual Artist
